The magnolia set is one of my all time favorites and it makes the most beautiful cards. Sadly this set (the stamps and coordinating dies) will be retiring in just a matter of weeks. If you don’t already have this beauty in your craft room, run to walk to my online store and see if it is still available.
This card also utilizes another retiring favorite and that is the Scripty 3D embossing folder. I love the pretty soft and subtle raised script font that makes a wonderful background for so many cards and other projects. It is one that I’ll be using for a long time to come. Do you have one of those in your craft room? I hope so.
And last but certainly not least, another of my retiring favorites is the Woven Heirlooms stamp set. The sentiment in this card comes from that set. Don’t you just love the beautiful fonts in this set? It works so well with this sympathy card.
The card stock is Sahara Sand, Soft Suede and Copper foil. The magnolia is stamped in Early Espresso. The sentiment is cut out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and I used a sponge dauber to “antique” the edges of the die using Soft Suede. The sentiment is embossed in copper and popped up on dimensionals.
