This card was made using some retired DSP and some retired stamp sets but the sailing theme can be accomplished using the wonderful Sailing Home stamp set by Stampin’ Up! If you happen to have some of the World of Good DSP lying around, that would be a plus.
I used Soft Suede as my card base with Very Vanilla as the inside piece. I tore the paper and used a sponge dauber in soft suede to make it look like ancient maps.
The sentiments that I used came from a variety of older stamp sets. I just think of this as an advantage to collecting these awesome products over a period of time.
On the inside of the card I used Pacific Point and Basic White to create some nautical signal flags. I searched for some simple ones and thought what I found made for a comical addition to my card. The embossing folder helped with the illusion of water.
