Using the beautiful butterfly stampset “Butterfly Brilliance” you can make butterflies that move. You’ll need a colored clothespin that is 1/4″ wide, a strip of cardstock 3″ x 1/4″ in a coordinating color, the Simply Scored, and adhesive (liquid glue if you have patience or Tear and Tape if you are a little less patient).
I made a video to walk you through all the steps and dimensions. Hopefully, you won’t get covered in glue when you give this a try like I did. 😉 I ended up with very sticky fingers after making several butterflies before the video. But, I was having so much fun making moving butterflies, I didn’t notice how sticky my fingers were until I was filming. Note to self: wash off ink, glue, glitter, etc before filming.
These moving butterflies would be the perfect addition to the top of a gift, to hold a note, or even hold a name for a place setting. Have fun making your own kaleidoscope (a group of butterflies)
