For this year’s World Card Making Day we chose to make Christmas Cards. Eighty to be exact. Each lady made 8 cards of at least 2 designs. Always lot of fun, laughs, creativity and ultimately wonderful cards to take home and send.
Be sure to send one some happy mail this week. Everyone could use a handmade card to bring a smile to their face.
I will be sending out two new cards to my two new international pen pals. One from Canada and one from France. I’ll try to post pictures of the cards I’ll be making and sending. It is so much fun connecting with fellow card makers all over the world!
Events Happening in the Creative Treehouse during October
October is going to be full of wonderful activities in the Creative Treehouse. On the 15th we will have our regular monthly card workshops. There will be a morning as well as an evening session. Then on the 28th there will be a class called “All about Masks”. Doesn’t that sound fitting for the month of October? It actually has nothing to do with masks that you wear, I just thought is was appropriate. he he. Actually, it is really all about learning to use Stampin’ Up!s decorative masks along with embossing paste to create lovely textures and patterns. Participants will receive a discount for that class if they purchase the embossing paste and palette knife from my online store and bring those to class.
