The Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-Bration is perfect choice for Christmas cards with it’s traditional look. The paper pack features designs and colors that coordinate beautifully together making it easy to design a simple card that looks warm and inviting.
For this card I used the Christmas Tree punch and braided linen trim. The sentiment was stamped in Evening Evergreen (that needs to be reinked) and came from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set found in the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog.
I’ll include all the dimensions and even a video in the next few days if you want to come back here and check it out. The videos have been made but not edited yet since we are in the midst of preparing for Thanksgiving.

The Peaceful Place DSP has such stunning shimmery prints that it’s hard to decide which one to use. This particular pattern can be cut in such a way as to get 6 cards out of one piece of 12 x 12 cardstock.
I used Balmy Blue and Night of Navy inkpads with the blending brush to add a touch of color to the sky. Then I took Thick Whisper White cardstock and tore it to make snow hills. I used the Versa Mark refill bottle to lightly apply a thin line of Versa Mark to the torn edges of the paper. After that, sprinkle with White Embossing Powder or Dazzling Diamonds (retired) and heat set briefly.
The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy and the sentiment itself came from Poinsettia Petals that is in the Annual Catalog. The card base is Night of Navy and a die cut silver star with center rhinestone compliment the shimmery paper.
Here is the video where I walk you through the card and show you the tips including how to make the glittery snowdrifts on the tops of the snow using Versa Mark refill.
Here’s hoping that you have a blessed Thanksgiving with your loved ones. And for those who are not in the United States, may your week and weekend be full of thankfulness as you count your blessings.
I’ll drop in again soon.
