Everyone had a great time at the Mini Retreat yesterday. Each participant was able to make 5 cards (3 of which were Christmas cards) and 4 Christmas gift tags. Everyone had a different favorite. The Tailored Made Tags Dies are a great way to make useful tags for Christmas or any occasion. A pretty tag can be that extra “wow” factor a bag needs or simply that wonderful personal touch like the cherry on top.
In between making cards and tags everyone enjoyed trying out some homemade soups, nibbling cornbread and filling up on the smorgasbord of delicious desserts that everyone brought. There will also gifts which included a pillow box containing chocolate and a cute candy cane puzzle. One of the best things about a Mini Retreat is the extra time that you get to spend chatting and laughing with old and new friends. Hope you can join us for next year’s Mini Retreat.
After seeing his wife, Nancy, come home with wonderful homemade cards, Larry decided to try his hand at it. He took to it like a duck to water. In no time at all he had acquired many new skills and left with eight handmade thank you cards in addition to a big smile . But one of the really cool things to me was that it was HIS idea to learn to make cards so that he could give his clients “special” cards. Way to go, Larry! I can’t wait to see what an impact these handmade cards will have on your business.
