The stunning Sun Print DSP is the showstopper for this ‘Thinking of You’ card. The perfect DSP can really steal the spotlight and this card is a wonderful example of that focus. Each of the pieces of 12 x 12 Sun Print DSP is stunning and lends itself to a myriad of creative possibilities. I needed a sympathy card and wanted to try using some of the DSP. Out of all the choices in the paper pack, I chose a piece that could easily be used as a background for a scrapbook page.
This piece of DSP to 5 1/8 x 3 7/8 with a border of Basic White cut at 5 1/4 x 4. These two were layered together and adhered to a Night of Navy card base – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (scored at 4 1/4). After the three pieces were together, I stamped the dragonfly in Versa Mark onto a scrap of Night of Navy. Sprinkling the dragonfly with white embossing powder and heat setting it, really makes a statement. Using the dragonfly punch, I punched out the white embossed dragonfly and popped it up on two black mini dimensionals.
The sentiment, ‘Thinking of You’, came from an older Paper Pumpkin stamp set. If you don’t happen to have that one, you could use whatever you might have on hand. Like the dragonfly, I stamped the sentiment in Versa Mark and heat set it with white embossing powder.

On the inside of the card I placed a piece of Basic White cardstock that measured 5 x 3 3/4. I stamped the inside piece with two of the stamps from the Nature’s Print stamp set. These stamps match perfectly with the Sun Print DSP. I stamped each of the stamps using Starry Sky ink.
As you can see, it just takes a few simple step to complete the ‘Thinking of You’ card . Pretty easy, huh? And quite stunning, I think. Let me know how you use that particular piece of Sun Print DSP. As with all Stampin’ Up! products, the options are endless.
