My first attempt at creating a napkin card was lots of fun! The napkin came from a pack that I bought from Hobby Lobby for a Card Workshop last weekend that included lunch. The beautiful fall napkins were just asking to become the centerpiece of a card so I took on the challenge.
I learned a lot of tips through trial and error on how to make a napkin card. You can hear all of those on my YouTube tutorial. The main tips include how to get a the correct color of background cardstock and how to take off the various backing pieces behind the napkin itself.
There are various ways to adhere the napkin (once the backings have been pulled off) to the card. I chose to use Adhesive Sheets and adhered the napkin to a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen are the other featured colors used.
If you have never made a napkin card, I highly recommend trying. I found creating a napkin card quite fun. There are so many beautiful napkins out there to choose from. Since, the fall napkin that I used was so pretty, I didn’t cover it up with a sentiment. More than likely, I’ll add a sentiment before I send it to a favorite recipient.
I would love to hear from you! Let me know when you create your own napkin card and how it turns out. You can leave a comment here and hopefully even a photo of the napkin card that you made.
