Grab your blending brushes to add color to the Silver and Gold DSP. I saw this idea on Pinterest and had to give it a try. The background to the DSP is just plain white. It is amazing how a little color from ink and a blending brush can really brighten up the cracker boxes.
The pretty Silver and Gold DSP was a free item you could earn in a recent Sale-a-Bration catalog. I ended up with a couple packs of this 6 x6 paper. If you have some of this paper in your stash, you might really enjoy “coloring” this DSP with blending brushes.
I used Granny Apple Green and Balmy Blue for half of my treat boxes. For the remaining half, I used Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry. The elegant silver and gold twine works well to tie the ends of the treat boxes.
Using the cracker and treat box dies, makes for quick and easy treat box creations. Because of the speed at which you can make boxes, it is easy to spend a little time coloring the DSP. So, just grab your blending brushes along with your favorite ink colors. That is a recipe for fun and beautiful treat boxes.
Let me know how your treat boxes turn out.
