The Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper is absolutely gorgeous! I love the color combinations and everything about the entire suite. Today’s card combines that beautiful paper with the Perennial Postage dies. Because the DSP is so gorgeous, I did not add any sentiments to the card. I let the DSP do all the talking. I did add a sentiment of sorts to the second version of this card. You can find it along with the directions for this card on my YouTube tutorial. After you see both cards, you’ll have to let me know in the comments which one is your favorite. The first version I created for my sister for her birthday and I mailed it to her before I remembered to take photos of the inside. In the video, you’ll be able to see the inside of the card in addition to the stamp that I used.
There really isn’t anything complicated about this card. My first step in creating it was to cut out various postage dies and configure them onto a card front. After I selected which dies to use, I measured the dies so I could create mats along with coordinating DSP pieces for the inside. Lucky for you, I did all the hard “calculating”.
