The Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper is just gorgeous. I was fascinated that both the yellow greens and the blue greens play so well together in this paper. After selecting a piece of the paper, I went about designing a card around the paper. I incorporated Mossy Meadow, Garden Green, Olive Green and Soft Seafoam into the background pieces of the card.
In order to have even more fun with this card, I cut out various pieces then asked viewers on my YouTube and FB Live to help me. I ran pieces of Mossy Meadow through 3 different embossing folders. The viewers picked the new Forever Plaid 3D folder over the other two choices. Viewers also help decide the placement of the bow, the position of the sentiment, and whether to use dimensionals or not. The Inside
For the inside of the card, I added a small strip of the Season of Green and Gold paper to tie the inside to the front of the card. There were lots of colors of green to chose from. But, ultimately I went with Old Olive as the mat under the Very Vanilla piece. - Card Base: Very Vanilla
- Soft Seafoam: 2-1/4 x 5-1/4, 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 use “eyelet” circle Spotlight on Nature circle die.
- DSP: 2 x 5-1/4
- Mossy Meadow: 4 x 5 1/4 (use Plaid 3D embossing folder), 2-5/8 square mat
- Garden Green: 1/2 x 4-1/4 (for left side), 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 punched with 2-5/8 punch
- Old Olive: 2-7/8 square for largest mat
- Very Vanilla satin ribbon (approx. 7 inches – enough for small bow)
- For the inside: Old Olive 3-3/4 x 5, Very Vanilla 3-9/16 x 4-13/16, DSP 3/8 x 4-13/16

The sentiment came from a retired set – Christmas Classics. However, the embossing folder is a brand new folder which customers can order beginning in September (just a week a way).
