Next week I’m hosting a Couples, Cards, and Candlelight event where each couple makes a Valentine’s Card for their spouse. Designing pretty feminine cards is easy. However, designing a masculine Valentine’s Card is not as easy – at least for me.
To begin with, I decided that I wanted the masculine card to feature blues and browns. In addition, I wanted to have lots of texture. So, I began rummaging through all my Designer Series Paper and came up with a few papers that I really liked. You might recognize some of them from days gone by. But, I wanted to share the overall design to give you a starting point for designing your own masculine Valentine’s Card. However, if you save most of your stamp sets, dies, DSP and embellishments, you might just have every element that I used in my card! And if not, no worries. You can use my card as a sketch idea and pair it with whatever you have on hand in your craft room.
If you would like more masculine Valentine Card ideas, you can see one of my other designs here. This was actually the card that the girls made for their guys at last year’s Couple, Cards, and Candlelight. ON the Inside

If I remember correctly, the stamps on the inside came from two different stamp set both of which are retired. You should see my craft table! It is covered with all of my heart stamp sets, dies, and tons of coordinating Stampin’ Up! products. The coordination allows you to easily mix old and new to create something wonderful.
Thanks for stopping by the Treehouse today! You can catch me LIVE on Thursday nights at 8PM (Eastern time) on my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@CreativeTreehouse). Currently, I’m coloring in the places where people are watching from. Our US map is slowly filling up. Pop on over to see if your state is colored in yet. If not, you get to pick the color. I also have a world map for those of you who live outside the US. Hope to see you soon!

As always absolutely fabulous! Can’t wait to see the guys making cards even if I have to close my eyes and snap the photos. Lol
