Delightful Wishes Class

We recently held a Kit Creations class where we made five cards using the Delightful Wishes bundle. The Delightful Wishes class was an online class. These classes are held every other month. The Delightful Wishes bundle and coordinating papers made it easy to design fun cards for the class. For some reason, I can’t keep it simple and I love making fun fold cards. So, for this class there were three fun fold cards to make. If you missed the class but are interested in making these cards on your own, I have a set of pdfs that you can purchase right here on my blog. The class participants get the pdfs as part of their class fee.

Card #1

The first and last cards for the class were on the easier side. The pdfs cover all the tips and tricks that I used to create each card. The pdfs contain detailed instructions along with photos to help you easily make the cards on your own.

Card #2

This is probably my favorite card out of the five. I’m not sure why other than this is one of my favorite fun fold designs. The pdfs also provide a link to a short tip video that shows you how to easily get the interior ‘wishing’ word to easily adhere to the background word. The video will help you not lose those tiny dots on top of the ‘i’s. You will notice that we used this tip for three of the five cards that we made in the class.

Card #3

Card number three could honestly be my favorite just because I love the colors. I thought that the Coastal Cabana color made a great contrast for the pretty yellows in the flowers. Of course, the fact that it is a fun fold card, gives it a higher rating as well in my book.

Card #4

This card is the last of the fun fold cards that we made during the class. One of the neat elements in this card is the use of the vellum and window sheet. When creating the card, you line up the outside sentiment with the inside stamped sentiment. If you nail the placement, you won’t be able to see the inside sentiment until you open the card. I think this card is probably the coolest out of the five.

Card #5

Last but certainly not least, card number five is a super cute card. I am a fan of gingham. So, this card rates pretty high in my book. By the time the class participants get to this card, they have utilized almost all the stamps and dies from the Delightful Wishes bundle. Getting to work with almost everything you have bought is a huge plus. I think it makes you feel like you got the most bang for your buck.
