Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop for February 2025. This month we have a color challenge. Below you will find the photo and the colors that we used for inspiration. I always try to incorporate all of the colors from the challenge. This month I gleaned some inspiration from the photo and from the color palette.

Don’t you just love the bright summer colors (especially during the dreary winter months)? The only color that had me a little puzzled was the Cajun Craze. In my opinion, it didn’t seem to fit with the other colors. However, I was determined to use all six colors from the challenge. Below, you will find my card for the challenge.
My Card

As you can see, I took the ‘under the sea’ vibe from the challenge photo. Currently, the only sea themed stamp set that I have is the Submarine Life. I have had the set for quite awhile and never used it. So, this was the perfect time to pull it out and try to merge (or should I say “submerge”) the stamp set with the challenge colors.
I chose to use the ‘renegade’ Cajun Craze for the ocean floor. And what did you say? There is an additional color in my card? Well, I was hoping that since it is a submarine, Daffodil Delight would count as one of the basic colors that we can use – like Basic Black, Basic White, and Basic Beige. For my card we will call it, Basic Daffodil Delight. I did try other colors for the submarine, but the yellow was hands down the best choice. Submarines just need to be yellow. š
THe inside

I used both the Basic White and the Basic Beige in my card. On the inside, I brought in the Azure Afternoon and the Basic Beige. The cute little crab needed a home on my card. So, I added him to the inside.
Thanks for stopping by the Creative Treehouse today. I do hope you will hop on over to the other Ink & Inspiration blogs to see their amazing creations. The variety of creativity in this group is so fun to see. I know you will be inspired as you hop along. Just keep hopping from the list below.

So adorable! I love those little critters and the yellow submarine!
Such a cute card – and I love the crab on the inside too!
