Flip Up cards can be lots of fun to create. For this flip up card, I used the Beautiful Gallery 6 x 6 Designer Series paper that is in the current Annual Catalog. The landscapes in this pack make great flip up cards. In my recent YouTube LIVE the viewers and I created this card together. You can watch the replay of the video here.
During the LIVE, the viewers requested the measurements so they could recreate the card on their own. Below you will find the measurements. These measurements would work for any flip up card. Instead of using DSP, you could also use stamped images for the three panels. As with any Stampin’ Up! project, the sky is the limit in terms of options.
Here is the flip up card closed

I just love using landscapes for flip up cards. There are several different landscape Designer Series Papers available currently. Hopefully, you already have some in your stash. If not, you can check out the Beautiful Gallery 6 x 6 DSP here. There are more ideas for using landscape DSP on my blog as well.
Flip up on the inside

I chose to use a small sentiment from the Unbounded Beauty stamp set on the inside of the flip up card. For a light splash of color, I used a piece of the reverse side of one of the DSPs to go under the sentiment. If you find that you don’t have enough space to write inside the flap of the card, you could always add a piece of lighter cardstock to the back of the card for additional space.
