This was my first try making a triangular easel card. I found it to be fairly easy and a lot of fun. Since fun fold cards are some of my favorite, I like to explore different designs that I come across.
At first glance, this card may look complicated but it really isn’t. It uses a regular card base and you just add one additional score line. A couple small pieces of cardstock comprise the mechanism that makes the rectangle seem to float. In fact, some people call this a floating card.
The Petal Park stamp set and coordinating punch are easy to use and help make this card happy and fun. I do have a tip regarding the large leaf stamps in this set. Both of the stamps have a very narrow center section and can be easily pulled out of shape. Caution is required when apply and removing the stamps from a clear block. Inadvertently stretching a stamp will cause it to not line up with the matching leaf stamp.

Dimensions for the Triangular Easel Card
- Card Base: Bubble Bath cardstock – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4 and 2 1/8
- Berry Burst: 2 for mats cut at 2 x 5 3/8, 2 for mechanism cut at 2 x 3/4 scored at 1 inch, 2 3/4 x 4 1/8, 2 3/8 x 5/8 (for sentiment mat), 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 (for inside mat)
- Basic White: two 3 inch squares for flowers, 2 3/4 x 4 1/8 (for Deckled Rectangle), 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 (for inside)
- DSP: two pieces @ 5 1/8 x 1 3/4
