Night Divine Christmas Card

The Night Divine bundle lends itself to beautiful Christmas cards. For this Night Divine Christmas card, I adjusted the height of the stable. The stable die from the set is tall and will only work as is on a horizontal/portrait card. I wanted this card to be a landscape card. So, I was strategic in how I cut the die out. This particular cut is captured on my video tutorial if you want to follow along. The video also goes over some of the coloring and highlighting techniques that I used for the die cut animals and people. You can watch that tutorial here.

When I first created the Night Divine Christmas card, I did not have anything on the inside. There are probably an infinite number of possibilities. But, I decided to stamp the large sentiment from the Night Divine stamp set onto Boho Blue cardstock. After stamping with Night of Navy ink, I thought it needed something more. So, I heat embossed the sentiment in black which gives it that little something extra that I was after. To finish off the inside, I added 1 inch pieces of the O Holy Night DSP to either side of the sentiment and put everything up on a mat of Night of Navy cardstock. To write something to the recipient, I added a piece of Basic White to the back of the card.

• Basic Black cardstock: 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 scored at 4-1/4
• O Holy Night DSP cardstock: 5-1/4 x 4
• Early Espresso for stable and cow
• Pecan Pie for camel
• Misty Moonlight for holy family
• Very Vanilla or Sahara Sand for sheep
• Distressed Gold for star
