I love the new Notes of Nature bundle and was excited to get a chance to play with it. This is the first card that a created with the bundle. Because Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock are two of my all time favorite colors, I wanted to incorporate them into this card.
There are nine dies in this set and I used 8 of them for this card. My original purpose in creating the card was to show case the bundle. I made a cute Countdown series leading up to the release of the new Mini Catalog. You can find that on my FB business page.
When I saw the Notes of Nature bundle, I immediately saw a vintage-look card. So, I sought about creating one by uging a sponge dauber to distress the edges of two of the pieces. I used Crumb Cake ink to achieve the worn look. You can watch this technique along with the entire card tutorial here on my YouTube channel.

Above you’ll see a slightly different version of the card. For this second card, I chose a Pretty Peacock card base as opposed to the original one which was a Pecan Pie card base. You can also see how I inked up the embossing folder (Timeworn Type 3D) with Lost Lagoon ink before running it through the Stamp Cut and Emboss machine. I liked the result of inking up the back side of the folder better than the front of the folder. However, it does make the letters backwards. I’ll be you would have never noticed if I hadn’t pointed it out. š

Thank you, Wendie! It’s one of my favorites.
Pretty cards – I just got this bundle & can’t wait to make some cards with it. Just curious as to what the sizes are for the Crumb Cake piece & the piece under it plus the Very Vanilla piece.
