Perennial Lavender Card

The beautiful Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper makes it easy to create stunning cards. For this card I chose the 12 x 12 piece of DSP that has the lavender running diagonally on two sides of the paper. If you cut in 3 inch wide sections, you can create several card fronts using this piece of DSP. I show you how this is done in my video tutorial.

I used Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Pretty Peacock and Crumb Cake as my color palette to match the DSP. The piece of Highland Heather was cut out using one of the Scallop Contour dies. The sentiment came from the Lasting Joy stamp set that can be found in the current Annual Catalog. At the end of the post, I will list the measurements for this perennial lavender card as well as the products that I used to create it.

For the inside of the card, I used Pretty Peacock and Crumb Cake panels. I also used one of the stamps from the Pained Lavender set to stamp lavender stems. Stamping off for a couple of the stems adds some depth and interest. On this particular card, I used a Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write marker to add some green to the stems.
