Fun Fold Birthday Card

Wouldn’t you love to receive a fun fold birthday card? I know I would! I also love designing and creating fun fold cards. A card from a recent Paper Pumpkin kit was my inspiration for this card. My measurements are very similar to the original card. However, I added more paper and had lots of fun designing this card.

Isn’t that a really cool fun fold card? Aside from the fun fold itself, the candles are an important part of the card. I used the Bright and Beautiful DSP for the candles. Most of the candles are 1/4 inch in width but vary in length. It was easy to just cut several pieces of the DSP at one time with the trimmer. If you have any coordinating paper scraps, making candles would be a great use for your scraps!

• Misty Moonlight: 3-3/4 x 11 (scored at 1-1/2, 4, 6-1/2, and 10), 3-3/4 x 3-7/16, 5-1/4 x 4
• Basic White: 3-1/4 x 3-1/2
• Candles from DSP: 1/4 by 2-1/4, 2-1/2 and 2-3/4 ( you can make a few slightly narrower)
• Country Lace DSP: 3-1/4 x 3-1/2, 2-1/4 x 3-1/2
• Bright and Beautiful DSP: 3 x 3-1/4, 2 x 3-1/4
• Tag: Misty Moonlight and Basic White (size depends on which tag shape you chose)
