Favorite everyday Extras
- Fine Tip Glue Bottle – If you need just a tiny bit of glue for those skinny pieces of paper, you’ll appreciate having a fine tip glue bottle. I fill my glue bottles with Tombow Multi Liquid Glue. Just unscrew the cap from the large end of the bottle. Then, carefully pull out the squishy nozzle from the bottle itself. After you fill up your new fine tip glue bottle, you can easily replace the squishy nozzle back into the Tombow glue bottle.
- Mini Desk Vacuum – with all the little tiny paper pieces that are created especially from the Stamp Cut and Emboss machine, this little vacuum is amazing.
- 12 inch Metal Ruler with cork base: – I always need to measure paper pieces, and this ruler comes in handy. The cork backing keeps it from slipping, especially when I’m marking paper for a 3D project.
- Sand Eraser to remove small ink markings: – This eraser comes in handy to remove tiny ink marks on your creations. It can also sand off a rough paper edge. It gently “eats” off some of the paper fibers enabling it to take away light ink marks.
- Glue Eraser: – Try as I might, I always end up with glue where it shouldn’t be on my projects. A glue eraser is your new best friend for cleaning up stray bits of unsightly glue.
- Sticky Note Tape (in dispensers): For those of you who come to the Creative Treehouse, you will recognize this tape. I use it to secure my dies to the paper before running the dies through the Stamp Cut & Emboss machine. Everyone really likes the fact that the tape comes in a dispenser, making it easy to cut off just the amount that you need.
Storage Ideas
- 12 x 12 Paper Storage clear folders– As a DSP hoarder, I have lots of theses wonderful folders to organize my paper “collection”. I really like the way the folders expand to hold at least three packs of DSP and often times more.
- 5 x 7 strong Magnetic Sheets – these magnetic sheets are what I use to store my dies. They fit the majority of the SU die envelopes. For the envelopes that are wider, you can easily cut the sheet to fit.
- Storage Bins for new stamp and die packaging (2026)– these bins come in 3 different colors and are a perfect fit for our new packaging. I searched and searched until I finally came across these gems. You get three different bins that are all the same size- 11.75″L x 6″W x 5″H. They are collapsible but have an additional bottom piece making them strong enough to holds loads of stamps and dies. I like the fact that they are fabric and won’t scratch my shelving as I pull them in and out to retrieve the needed stamp set or die.
