It’s a new year and time to update our mini desk calendars. I love the addition I made to the original template of the pencil holder. The cute little desk calendar holds standard sticky notes as well as a mini pen or pencil.
Creating these cute calendars can be tons of fun. The hardest part might just be deciding which Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper to use. Paper with small designs work best since the calendar itself is small. I made at least a dozen of these this year and used a variety of DSP and various colors of cardstock.
One thing that is really nice about this project is that it only uses one 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of cardstock and only a small amount of DSP. You can find the dimensions and directions on my earlier blog post here. The calendar in the picture used Mossy Meadow cardstock and a retired Sale-a-bration paper that I thought was perfect for these calendars
These calendars make great gifts. If you know someone’s favorite colors, you can make a “custom” calendar just for them. Have you made one of these cuties yet?
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you next time.
